Alpha Hunter is Live!

We’re stoked at Griffin AI to release our biggest feature yet for AI agency in DeFi, with the groundbreaking drop of our new agent, Alpha Hunter!

Thousands of new tokens go live each day across Ethereum, Arbitrum, Solana and BNB Smart Chain. Chasing what matters most means bouncing between CoinMarketCap, Dexscreener, DeFiLlama, Nansen, Discord and Telegram and can quickly lead to burnout and information overload. It’s not efficient, nor is it scalable.

After months of development behind the scenes, the team at Griffin AI are proud to release Alpha Hunter, a powerful AI agent which will help you to cut through the noise of token research.

Alpha Hunter helps you research token activity in close to real time by scanning DEX pairs across different stages and surfacing the ones that show real movement. Alpha Hunter will then build reports for each pair it has ranked for you, tuned to your chosen strategy. Alpha Hunter is carefully designed to cut through the flood of noise and make price movements far easier to read.

A sharper lens on what’s moving

Alpha Hunter research results

Alpha Hunter continuously scans live token listings and market signals. It applies your chosen strategy to every available pair, ranks them by real traction, and builds a close to live report that spotlights what’s starting to move.

Each run pulls around 5,000 pairs from the full set of live listings. Alpha Hunter filters across what’s currently available on-chain, with coverage spanning an estimated 950 DEXs globally. Since each platform supports a different number of pairs, the total universe ranges somewhere between 50,000 and 100,000 possible combinations. That’s a lot of noise. Alpha Hunter narrows it down to what matters.

Strategies designed for real entry points

Each strategy available via Alpha Hunter targets a specific stage in a token’s development. Some track early signs of movement. Others look for steady liquidity or pressure building inside active pools. Alpha Hunter gives you control over where to focus based on your preferred trading strategy.

The key to Alpha Hunter is that these filters are built from real data. Each one is back tested and tuned to highlight tokens that show clear measurable traction. The thresholds reflect patterns that real traders act on such as early momentum spikes, slower signs of build-up and everything in between.

The user interface within Alpha Hunter currently gives you the choice between three types of research run. Let’s break these down below.

Choose your preferred strategy

Choose your preferred strategy

Very Degen

This strategy highlights pools that are fresh moving fast and gaining early traction. It filters for new tokens with at least $1K in liquidity, a $1M minimum FDV, more than 100 daily transactions and at least $10K in 24-hour volume.

Only tokens less than 72 hours old are included in the Very Degen category giving you a snapshot of true first-mover activity. This approach is designed to chase high-upside entries while keeping a few key guardrails in place.

Each filter has a job. The $1K liquidity floor helps avoid instant slippage collapse. The $1M FDV signals the project is reaching beyond low-effort noise. More than 100 trades in a day means real users are already showing up. And $10K in daily volume confirms there’s actual money moving not just empty price action.

Emerging Alphas

Emerging Alphas finds tokens that have moved beyond the early hype phase and are now holding volume and liquidity. These pools show signs of sustained momentum.

The strategy focuses on tokens that have survived their first few days of volatility and are starting to hold ground. To make the cut, a pool needs to be at least 72 hours old and backed by more than $100K in liquidity. It also needs to show a minimum $1M FDV and at least $1.2M in daily volume, enough to suggest real traction and continued interest from buyers who stuck around after the launch heat wore off.

Buy Pressure

The Buy Pressure research strategy picks out tokens where buy-side demand is already in control and acceleration is clearly underway.

To qualify, a pool must be deep enough to handle serious trades without slipping—over $100K in liquidity signals that. At least $1.2M in daily volume and 300 or more transactions show sustained interest from a wide base of traders. With buy pressure making up more than 60 percent of the total flow, the market is already leaning in hard. These are tokens that have survived their first few days, drawn capital and tipped into sustained upward momentum.

Real-time signals, research-ready context

Powerful research reports

Powerful research reports

Alpha Hunter refreshes numerous times a day, tracking more than 5,000 tokens in each cycle. You get back live reports that convert raw metrics into readable insights, surfacing what’s actionable now, not last week!

Alpha Hunter lets you drill into any token surfaced by your chosen strategy. For each active pool it builds a report that reads like a snapshot showing you how the token is trading and pointing to anything that might be starting to shift.

Degen Score: A fast way to judge traction

Alpha Hunter includes a proprietary Degen Score that’s updated throughout the day. It tracks momentum by watching volume trends, following liquidity as it moves, tracing transaction flows.

A strong Degen score usually signals momentum spreading between pools and across exchanges. The scoring models adapt in close to real time. A backtesting engine runs continuously in the background, adjusting weightings using live price data as well as recent volatility shifts, and specific flags tied to known rug patterns.

At launch, security scores aren’t yet included in the Degen Score. That’s intentional. Early pairs can show promise before they accumulate metadata and penalising them too early can block alpha. But you’ll still see a security score in each report, with full visibility on red flags when they appear.

Under the hood

Each run of Alpha Hunter filters through thousands of token listings across Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum and BNB Smart Chain.

The scoring engine combines factors like buy-side flow, liquidity depth, transaction patterns, and holders count. The model continuously evolves, using real outcomes to make future signals sharper and more accurate.

Supported chains

Alpha Hunter currently monitors Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum and BNB Smart Chain. These chains represent the most active listing environments across all major DEX networks.

Core scoring model

The scoring model blends multiple signal sources: buy pressure, holders, volume flow, liquidity depth and spread across pools. Each one is weighted using a proprietary formula that responds to both live and historic data.

AI reports with human QA

Each report reads like a research brief. It brings together live on-chain movement, core token data, and built-in risk checks. The goal is simple, to give you something you can act on without wasting time.

Each report is built by a reasoning model trained to surface useful signals and summarize complex data. The system has been tuned and validated with months of backtesting and human QA.

What each report includes

Inside each report you’ll find an overview of the token’s liquidity, transaction behaviour and trading volume. You’ll see whether scoring history supports the signal and whether any metadata is missing.

All security flags are clearly marked in this full report, and Alpha Hunter’s reports are structured for clarity and speed of reading.

Stay sharp, stay responsible

Alpha Hunter gives you a way to spot potential early price movements and read patterns as they form. It’s built to support research, not replace it. There’s always risk involved. Alpha just helps you see it sooner.

Fresh listings may be incomplete

Some early-stage tokens won’t yet have full metadata or pricing history. This can affect report accuracy during the first few cycles.

Volatility can affect visibility

During periods of high activity, you might notice slight lags in data refresh. These are usually temporary and resolved quickly.

Security scores aren’t yet weighted

The MVP version of Alpha Hunter doesn’t include security scores in the main scoring formula. This protects promising new tokens from being overly sidelined. But security scores still appear separately in reports so you can decide what matters. You choose your own level of degen!

Always verify before acting

Alpha Hunter helps surface and clarify signals. But it’s not a replacement for your own research. Treat every result as a prompt for deeper review, and never as financial advice. Use your judgment. Make smart, self-directed calls. That’s the real alpha when it comes to crypto!

Share your feedback

We’d love to hear what you think of Alpha Hunter, and we’ll be posting a lot about it on our X account as we launch and continue to develop it. Post us a reply there with your own suggestion for a feature improvement, and if we love the idea, we’ll throw some Griffin points your way!
