AMA Recap with Head of Product Michal Marazevich and CEO Oliver Feldmeier

On July 3, Griffin AI Founder Oliver Feldmeier and our Product Manager Michal Marazevich joined the community for a live AMA session to walk through Alpha Hunter’s current features, upcoming releases, and of course to speak to Griffin AI’s planned and upcoming token generation event.

Alpha Hunter is built to help users act faster and more effectively on-chain by converting DEX token data into usable signals.

Why we built Alpha Hunter

The market is crowded with dashboards and scanners that point to price spikes after the fact. Alpha Hunter was designed to work ahead of the curve. It filters thousands of new tokens, updating numerous times a day and applies learned scoring to help users act early. For Griffin AI, the goal was to build a flexible agent that sees the signal before others do. As Oliver explained, the project grew from a concrete use case but also opens the door to deeper agentic workflows.

“Obviously, we all want to find alpha. So that was the … goal of building this Alpha Hunter, how to make it easy for anybody to spot emerging opportunities on DEXs … trading new tokens, trading tokens that have a certain Buy Pressure and so on. But that's, I would say, just the tip of the iceberg and what really excites me about this agent.”

What Alpha Hunter really showcases

Griffin AI’s approach to automation is centred on agents that interpret signals and make informed, contextual decisions. Alpha Hunter is one of the first working examples of that idea. It identifies patterns and filters results based on actual momentum. It’s a tight, deliberately scoped agent that proves how an AI can make decisions based on on-chain signals. Oliver spoke to how this narrowed focus reveals a broader framework taking shape.

“What you see here and with Alpha Hunter, it's the showcase for a very specific set of capabilities. And in this case, it's all about making sense of on-chain data, interpreting this data and making proper decisions with it. That is the small set of capabilities we have really managed to nail with Alpha Hunter."

Michal gave a live walkthrough showing how token activity maps to real-world strategy.

The three core strategies right now in Alpha Hunter

Alpha Hunter ships with three built-in strategies: Very Degen, Emerging Alphas, and Buy Pressure. Each is optimized for a different market condition. These strategies are built on Griffin’s historical data and tuned to help users stay aligned with current momentum.

Very Degen targets volatile early-phase tokens. Emerging Alphas works best in flat or ranging markets. Buy Pressure identifies tokens with visible upward force. Together, they form a toolkit that adapts to market cycles without needing constant reconfiguration.

“We essentially started with three strategies, Very Degen, Emerging Alphas, and Buy Pressure, based on our experience, based on our historical data. And instead of leveraging dashboards and building strategies from scratch, you already have three strategies that fit three market regimes, right? So, the best part about Alpha Hunter is that it's applicable to any market regime... be it bull run, be it a stable market regime, be it a weird market regime, be it bear market, it is applicable.”

How to actually use Alpha Hunter

Alpha Hunter is a tool designed for users who want to decipher the numerous tokens and price signals flooding the crypto space on a day-to-day basis without losing their time. Alpha Hunter can give you a great starting point for your own research in seconds, drawing on accurate real and up-to-date information from across Web3.

Michal outlined the correct flow: Choose from the three main strategies present in the current version of Alpha Hunter and proceed through to receive detailed reports as well as safety info. The key, Michal stressed, is to balance Degen scores against risk levels and not to go in blind.

“Assess the market regime. If it's a stable market regime ... it's better to use Emerging Alphas. If you are risky and if markets are weak, please consider Degen, Super Degen strategies. If you're in a bull run, Buy Pressure, right? ...  if the Degen score is high and the risk score is low this is the best possible setup.”

Michal made no secret of his bias. He prefers the Very Degen strategy, which zeroes in on high-volatility tokens at the edge of the map. His advice was clear: if you’re experimenting, be even more mindful. Alpha Hunter gives you the raw edge, but it’s on you to cross-check socials and understand the risk. Degen trading still demands discipline.

“Guys, I'm absolutely into Degen territory. All right, I'm a risky boy, so I like risk, I like new projects. I like to experiment but please be aware that while you experiment, always always consider risk score and socials, that's two things: Do your own research, never forget about this, and be mindful.”

What’s next for Alpha Hunter

Right now, Alpha Hunter reads live data from DEXs and interprets signals like volume and volatility. But that’s only half the market. The next phase is support for centralized exchange (CEX) tokens. That means applying the same logic to more liquid assets, so users who aren’t scouting brand new launches can still benefit from live scoring and strategy alignment. Oliver confirmed that development is already underway.

“We are preparing for another version of Alpha Hunter. Right now it's great to interpret DEX data, so it's good to search for Degen coins, for small cap tokens with Buy Pressure ... but many of us maybe are not all that full Degen and they want to be able also to analyse the larger cryptos, the centralized exchange data... so that is one of the bigger additions.”

Expanding to CEX data will open Alpha Hunter up to a broader user base. While the current product is aimed at early-stage token discovery, the CEX version will allow users to apply Griffin’s agentic tooling to more established trading pairs, across a wider range of strategies.

What’s next for Griffin AI at large

Alpha Hunter is one part of a wider framework Griffin AI is actively expanding. The next phase focuses on refining the agent creation process and broadening where and how agents operate. This includes both internal upgrades and external integrations already underway. Oliver offered a full preview:

“Another feature slated for later in July will be an improved version of the Agent Builder so that all of you can create your agents ... There will be more and more tools and other agents you can call from within the Agent Builder, for example, to get price performance reports, to get cryptocurrency news, to get this data from DEXEs ... There will be a showcase ... [you] can share … with other users ... A complete revamp of our Transaction Execution Agent ... soon we will have different swap options... and we will also be able to offer yield opportunities... We are getting into the final stages with two of our partners ... [and] expecting quite some activity.”

Update on the Griffin AI token launch

The Griffin team had approvals in place for a launch earlier in the year. But timing matters. Oliver explained the decision clearly:

“We initially planned it earlier this year. We had some approvals from the exchanges and so on, but then basically the altcoin markets crashed … The altcoin bull run did not really continue from late Q4 into this year. And that's why we said here, look, there's no point in launching the token in a down market... we cannot pump a token into a down market and then just have it sell off.”

Rather than rush into a single listing, Griffin is coordinating a broader rollout strategy. This includes multiple exchange listings and is intended to build lasting participation. The goal is to create meaningful momentum as we continue to build.

“We are negotiating with the exchanges on listing time windows, on listing timeframes, on requirements we need to fulfil before listing and so on. We do have the first listing approvals from I would say the second-tier type of exchanges which is a good thing, but our plan is not just to launch a random exchange here and there... We want to have a fully-fledged plan from exchange listing to exchange listing … multiple at a time and then also in continuity so that there is fresh demand for the token … fresh markets we tap into.”

Update on the Griffin AI airdrop

With over two million signups across Griffin AI’s tools, the team has had to guard against bad actors. Bots and duplicate accounts have been actively trying to game airdrop eligibility. To protect genuine users, Griffin is keeping the criteria confidential until all snapshots are finalized. Once that’s done, the terms will be made public.

“We are being targeted as a project by people trying to game the system. So, people using bots or duplicate accounts in order to game the system to get an unfair advantage … over all of you that are honestly participating... That is why we are not disclosing the super precise criteria for the airdrop... once we have all the snapshots everything really defined and there is no chance for people then gaming the system, that’s when we’ll make that public.”
