Griffin AI April Update

April saw Griffin AI unleashing creative freedom with the launch of our upgraded Image Generator and diving deep into transformative AI standards like MCP. Our community sparked to life with meme contests and surprise NFT drops, while Griffin AI proactively tackled scam tokens and teased an exciting upcoming TGE. Read on for the full lowdown.

Network

This month brought significant upgrades to Griffin AI's platform, empowering our users with advanced creative tools thanks to our updated Image Generator Agent launch.

Next-level Image Generator launches

Griffin AI image generator - freedom!

Griffin AI image generator - freedom!

We've officially upgraded our Image Generator Agent, now powered by Stability AI's latest Stable Diffusion 3.5 Large model. This significant update dramatically expands creative freedom, realism, and precision for all creators.

Artists can now experiment without the restrictive moderation that typically hampers generative platforms like DALL-E. Whether it's provocative political satire of public figures, tasteful artistic nudity, historically inspired portraits, or nuanced social commentary, our model puts creative responsibility fully in the hands of users (18+). Bold, expressive imagery—such as intricate mash-ups inspired by Banksy, Kahlo, Basquiat, Dalí, Murakami, and Klimt—is now possible, free from arbitrary censorship.

In addition, by moving away from third-party APIs, users now benefit from tripled daily generation quotas (15 images daily instead of the standard 5). This translates directly into more creative output and less waiting around.

Community

Our community got creative in March, celebrating surprise NFT drops and showcasing their meme-making talents. Here's how it all unfolded.

Surprise NFT drop hits wallets

Mid-month, we delighted our community with a surprise NFT drop. If you haven’t checked your wallet yet, now’s the perfect moment. Quickly verify your new collectibles using OKX's Base Explorer

Meme contest sparks creativity explosion

To celebrate our upgraded Image Generator launch, we invited the community to unleash their creativity through a vibrant crypto meme contest. Participants generated unique memes with our AI agent, posting creations under our official X thread.

Within days, submissions exploded. Participants enthusiastically embraced the fun, quirky spirit of the competition, prompting a second-day update filled with creativity, humour, and impressive originality. The contest concluded April 2, with ten lucky winners each securing 5,000 XP.

Events

March kicked off Griffin AI's first-ever live AMA and saw us tackling scam threats head-on. Here’s exactly what unfolded and what you need to know.

Griffin's first-ever video AMA

On March 17, we hosted our inaugural live video AMA on X featuring Griffin AI's Colin Fitzpatrick (@collymonster) and our newest team member, Jingyi. The lively session recapped recent developments, hinted at upcoming launches, and tackled handpicked community questions, marking a new era of real-time interaction with our community. Expect more face-to-face AMAs soon!

Scam alert and TGE teaser

On a serious note, we issued a timely scam alert about fraudulent Griffin AI tokens appearing prematurely on various DEXs and even CoinMarketCap. Remember, official Griffin AI tokens aren't live yet—stay cautious and always verify announcements through our verified channels only.

However, these unfortunate scam attempts inadvertently served as an exciting teaser for something significant that's genuinely coming soon: Our much-anticipated Token Generation Event (TGE). Alongside this, expect partnership announcements, new product releases, and strategic ecosystem expansions. Big news is imminent, so stay alert.

Thought leadership

This month, our tech team took a deep dive into powerful new standards and frameworks shaping the future of AI agent design and interactions. Check out the latest insights on Behaviour Trees and the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Behaviour trees: Smarter AI decision-making

Our tech team's fascination with smarter AI continues, this time examining behaviour trees. Originally rooted in robotics and game AI, behaviour trees offer structured yet adaptable frameworks perfect for dynamic Web3 applications, including decentralized finance and governance.

Behaviour trees improve upon traditional state machines by supporting real-time responsiveness, modular updates, and error containment, crucial for Web3’s fast-moving, unpredictable environments. Practical Python-based libraries such as py_trees and behavior3py demonstrate behaviour trees’ scalability, efficiency, and real-world applicability for agent-based blockchain automation.

MCP: New communication standards for AI Agents

In our recent deep dive, we explored the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an emerging standard revolutionizing how AI agents interact dynamically with external services, tools, and data. MCP’s clear architecture—comprised of Hosts, Clients, and Servers—offers AI agents unprecedented flexibility and real-time responsiveness.

From security considerations (sandboxed tool execution, TLS encryption, JWT-based authentication) to performance optimizations (connection pooling, predictive preloading), MCP provides a robust, standardized foundation. Particularly exciting is MCP's multi-agent capability, allowing simultaneous collaborative interactions across different agent types, ideal for complex Web3 ecosystems.
